What 10 things must you absolutely know when signing up for insurance?

When new employees are able to enroll in company insurance programs, one of the biggest hurdles to a successful signup is making the new employees properly informed. Often, they have just entered the workforce or have never signed up for benefits in the past.
The better employers do at educating new employees about their benefits plan, the happier and healthier those employees will be in the long run.
Deliverables
Help create an employee education procedure that makes the insurance choice process easy to understand. Specifically:
- What are the top ten things first time employees need to know for signing up for insurance benefits?
- How should that information be presented? Online, paper, a meeting, or a combination of ways? Why?
- Have you ever received insurance through an employer? How easy or confusing was the sign up process? What would you change?
AVOID: Responses the client would like solvers to avoid go in this space. Consider including ideas your company has already tried, ideas already on the market, reasonably predictable responses, or approaches that you know will not be feasible.
HELPFUL HINT: We really want to see out of the box solutions that focus on digital and visual components.
